Tiebreaker mini-game for when two or more players tie for the daily high score
How It Triggers
When a player rolls the same total as the current daily high score holder (a different player), a Gauntlet automatically starts between them. Only triggers for non-jackpot ties.
How It Works
- Each participant gets independent turns (1 for non-stakers, 3 for stakers + NFT extra roll chance)
- The single highest roll among all your turns in the current round is your "best"
- The participant with the highest best roll wins
- Gauntlet turns are completely separate from main game turns
Tiebreaker Rounds & Multi-Player
- If best rolls are tied, everyone gets a fresh full turn allocation for a new round
- If a 3rd player ties the same high score, they join the gauntlet with fresh turns
- In 3+ player gauntlets, only those tied for the highest score survive each round -- everyone else is eliminated. This repeats until one winner remains
Time Limits
Gauntlets expire at the earlier of 6 hours after creation or midnight UTC. If nobody rolls before expiry, the tie stands and the earliest main game roll wins.
Outcomes
- Overpowering -- the winner's main game roll gets a gold badge and their score stands for the daily winner
- Overpowered -- losers' main game rolls are dimmed and excluded from daily winner consideration
Cancellation
If someone rolls higher than the gauntlet's tied score in the main game, the gauntlet is cancelled (no marks applied). A jackpot (24) also cancels any active gauntlet immediately.
Good to Know
- Gauntlet rolls do NOT affect your profile stats (total rolls, highest personal roll, streaks)
- You can still roll in the main game while participating in a gauntlet

The prize pool is variable and managed by BlocksForge, the block producer on the XPR network. Current prize amounts are always displayed in the game interface and updated in real-time.
